C-PACE Programs are a new means by which states across the country are promoting energy efficiency in commercial office buildings. In New York State, EICNY is a non-profit local development corporation set up to oversee the C-PACE program for New York State. This program promotes the implementation of energy efficiency measures by providing a means of financing the initiatives over the useful life of the initiatives. In most cases that’s a fifteen or twenty year term.

HUNT Mortgage Corp. has opened the doors to its new corporate headquarters on the second floor in the Brisbane Building at 403 Main Street in Buffalo, NY, moving from the company’s previous location at 5400 Broadway Street, Lancaster, NY. In addition to the move by their mortgage division, HUNT Real Estate Corp. also announced HUNT Commercial Real Estate has moved to an adjacent space to HUNT Mortgage on the second floor.

The pandemic afforded Peter Hunt some time to do something that had been nagging him for a while.

The chairman and CEO of Hunt Real Estate Corp. gave the Brisbane Building a good, hard look and didn’t like what he saw.

The result is the start of a multi-year renovation of the downtown seven-story building at 403 Main St., on the edge of Lafayette Square.
